Bubble Painting
Bubble painting is one of my kids favorite art activities! It's fun, easy, and you most likely already have everything on hand.
Materials
2 tbsp craft paint
1 tbsp clear dishwashing liquid
1 cup water
pie plate or shallow cake pan
straw
white construction or cardstock paper
Mix paint, dishwashing liquid, and water in a container with a lid. You will need a lid that fits tight and will not leak. Its best to shake the mixture in order to get paint to mix well. Next pour mixture into pie/cake pan. Have your child use their straw to blow bubbles into the mixture. The bigger the bubbles the better! Place a piece of paper on top of the bubbles and leave there until all the bubbles have popped. Now take a look at your bubble art. My kids like to draw on their bubble paintings once they dry. Have fun!
